Welcome To The London Welsh Occasionals

Winners Middlesex Merit Division One 2006

The "Occies" are London Welsh's representation of social rugby in South West London.  Contrary to our name, we play every Saturday and usually put out two teams, and on occasion, have managed three teams.

New players and members are always welcome, the beer and laughs flow as hard and fast as the tackles on a Saturday afternoon.

We are based at the world famous London Welsh RFC at Old Deer Park.  One of, if not, the most famous rugby club in the world.  Notable past "Occies" include Wales International and Lion JPR Williams, and the very gifted Eirwyn Williams.

Our 1st XV play in the Middlesex Merit Table 1st Division, whilst the 2nd XV play in the Surrey Reserve B Merit League .  After the game we all mingle back at the London Welsh bar for a traditional rugby club evening.

So if you fancy the challenge of being an "Occie" come along to the ground for training on Wednesdays (7:15 for a 7:30 start) or contact one of the members
